Well, it’s the day after my bike ride, and no flare. A little less energy, but NO PAIN. This is amazing!

Hope your cycling is going well. Just paid an outrageous amount of money to have a sleep study done because I haven’t been able to sleep in about a year. Thought maybe it was apnea or snoring. NOOOOOO! The doctor came in and said that I was waking up about 150 times a night and all because of the pain of fibro. Basically he said there was nothing they could do. GRRRRR! Fibro is just so much fun isn’t it!?!?
I’m so sorry about the sleep clinic, Deanna. You know, for something that so many doctors say doesn’t exist (except between our ears), they sure are making a fortune off of it. Wouldn’t you sort of fall out of your chair if they said, “I’m sorry. There’s nothing we can do, so, no charge!” I can’t believe that they can’t do anything for you– regardless of the cause.
This may sound simplistic, but because I don’t like taking a lot of prescription meds, I keep a bottle of Tylenol PM in my cabinet for nights where my sleep is really crazy (I think of it as electrically charged sleep). It doesn’t knock me out, but it does sometimes seem to make me sleep a little more deeply. I almost always feel like I’ve run about 700 miles when I wake up in the morning, but sometimes the Tylenol drops it down to about 450 miles!
Hang in there, Deanna, and thank you for updating me!

Oh, no after reading Deanna’s sleep study issue, I’m nervous to go to mine next week. Uggh …
Wow, I think having some work made you have some extra happy to fight the bad pain that lives in your body? Did that make sense to you? Too tired to type my thoughts correctly …
